Why Stello exists

Most money apps either shame you for spending or gamify you into not. Stello does neither. It treats debt and money like what they are — a problem you can solve with a clear plan and a tool you can trust.

The product is split in two: a coaching surface that tells you what to protect, pay, and stay safe on this week, and a ledger surface that shows where your money actually goes. The coaching is the point. The ledger is what makes the coaching credible.

The five things we hold to

1. Calm authority. Information is presented as settled fact, not alarm.
2. Progress over ledger. Coaching is the product. The ledger is the foundation.
3. Clarity earns trust. Every figure must be legible without explanation.
4. Motion serves meaning. Transitions communicate state changes, not decoration.
5. The habit is the product. Stello is used weekly, not once.

What we don't do

• No ads. Ever.
• No selling your data. Ever.
• No AI making financial decisions. The rules engine is deterministic and lives on our server.
• No confetti for opening the app.
